Exactly When Do You Become A SENIOR?

500 people turn 65 every minute!

Hmmm . . . a senior? Is it a certain age? Or is it when you begin to feel old? Maybe it's when you qualify for Social Security and Medicare. What if your are a senior but don't look or feel it? What if you look it and feel it WAY before you really are?

You can join AARP at 50, but 50 seems sort of young to be a senior. If you are 55 and want to admit it, you can get a senior discount at a number of businesses and restaurants. Some Taco Bell's offer free "senior drihks" and they are a generous size: you just have to ask. Will I ask when I get there? I don't think so! But then I'll be praying they don't offer it to me anytime soon. (Oh yeah, I'm officially "there!" And they haven't offered. TYG!!!)
